If you add a WiiM device through the Home App, please make sure your mobile phone and the WiiM device are on the same network.
Remove an AirPlay Code for the WiiM Device
- Tap Home Settings→Allow Speaker & TV Access→Anyone On the Same Network/Everyone in the Home App.
- Please Set the Require Password status to off.
- Tap Back→Done.
- Then, use the Apple Music App to connect to the WiiM device and try to see if it can be connected.
If that doesn't work, we suggest removing your WiiM device from the Apple Home app and then re-adding it. After this, please attempt to AirPlay again to check if the request for an AirPlay code persists.
Add an AirPlay code for WiiM Device
- Tap Home Settings→Allow Speaker & TV Access→Anyone On the Same Network/Everyone in the Home App.
- Please Set the Require Password status to on.
- Enter an AirPlay Code in the Password field.
- Tap Back→Done.
- Next, open the Apple Music App to connect to the WiiM device. Check if it prompts for an AirPlay code to establish the connection with your device.
