On iOS and Android, the Qobuz app is compatible with Chromecast, thus, you can stream Qobuz in Hi-Res to WiiM Pro via Chromecast up to 24-bit at 96 kHz format.
It offers excellent sound quality because it is in FLAC format. It also has the advantage of not draining your battery, as your smartphone acts as a remote control, with the files being played directly from the Qobuz servers by your WiiM Pro device.
Qobuz streams your music to WiiM Pro on both Android and iOS devices with the following steps:
- Open the Qobuz app and start playing some music.
- Tap the Cast icon near the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- Select your WiiM Pro from the list.
Note: The AirPlay function on iOS only allows Qobuz to be used in CD quality due to Airplay’s restriction to 16-bit digital audio files at 44.1 kHz.
